HVAC Service Technician
Our service team is a fast pace commercial food service company looking for a new member of our team.
Job Overview
Our company is looking for experienced Service Technicians to be responsible for handling repairs and customer service. You will be handling face-to-face field communications, such as working with customers and vendors. You will also be responsible for managing your electronic service tickets, collecting necessary payments, and performing other general service duties and responsibilities. If you feel you have Mechanical Aptitude and can be trained, please feel free to submit your application.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Handling customers, vendors, and manufacturers daily.
· Operating and being responsible for a company vehicle.
· Knowledge of operating a tablet, email, and cellphone.
· Able to work effectively and efficiently alone.
· Must follow all safety procedures as instructed.
· Must have trade basic tools.
· TEMCO offers a tool purchase program and a required tool list.
· Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods if necessary, up to 4 hours.
· Must be able to work overtime: after five p.m. and on weekends.
· Must continue education and attend training schools locally and/or out of town, possibly over the weekend, to continue education.
Company Hours and Benefits
- Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. (Open 365 days 24/7)
- Seven Paid Holidays
- Insurance benefits are available: Major Medical, Dental, Vision, and S?D+L/D.
- Up to 4 weeks of PTO Available (tenure based).
- 0-1 years 80 hours, 2-4 years 120 hours, & 5 Years and beyond 160 hours
- 60 Hours PTO year-end carryover allowance
- 401K Retirement Plan and Profit Share.
Service Technician Requirements
· Ability to pay attention to detail and follow instructions.
· Experience as a Commercial / Residential HVAC Technician or related field.
· Warm personality, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask.
· Good time management and problem-solving skills.
· Must be able to differentiate colors and symbols in fine print and wires.
· Must possess and maintain a clean driving record.
· Ability to work well and efficiently in a fast-past environment.
· Must be able to work overtime: after five p.m. and on weekends.
· Attend training schools locally and/or out of town, possibly over the weekend, to continue education.
· Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods if necessary, up to 4 hours.
· Must know how to read wiring diagrams and properly use a volt-ohm- meter.
Pay based on experience and knowledge.
Compensation: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
