Heating and Cooling Installation Technician

Job: Installation Technician (Entry-Level)          

Job description: Each day you will help deliver a top-notch experience to our customers by providing a quality installation of heating and cooling systems and products. Our field technicians are the hands of our company, working together to provide expert-level safety, comfort, and health in your home and our local community 

Responsibilities:
Our Installation Technician has the following responsibilities and duties:

  • Assist in installing heating and cooling systems and products
  • Use technological assets to effectively communicate with customers and office  
  • Represent our company in a positive light by driving responsibly and taking care of the company vehicle 
  • Be able to effectively communicate and offer products that would enhance the customer’s safety, comfort & health
  • Work with your team to achieve department goals 
  • Contribute to a positive team-oriented environment by treating all with respect and practicing effective communication 
  • Must possess a can-do, hard-working, in it to win it attitude. Must have the ability to take personal responsibility to improve as a person and employee. Willing to adapt to our way and systems for providing a red-carpet level of service  
 

Requirements:
Our Installation Technician should have the following skills, education, and experience:

Must possess a mostly positive outlook and be committed to serving our customers to their best ability  

HVAC certificate or degree and 2 years HVAC experience

Ability to climb in and out of vans and travel staircases, able to lift over 75lbs, and work in the hot and cold Michigan weather.

Schaafsma Heating & Cooling provides heating and cooling installation and repair to customers within 30 miles of our home base located at 25 N. Park St. NW. Grand Rapids, Michigan 49544. Our goal is to provide an expert level of red-carpet service to our customers and promote safety, comfort, and health to our local community! 

Compensation:


Schaafsma Heating & Cooling will provide the following compensation:
