Role and Responsibilities:
• Assist the Lead Installation Technician with the installation of HVAC related equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications.
• Support Lead Installer in:
o Installing HVAC related equipment.
o Installing Sheet metal duct systems.
o Connecting gas lines to heating equipment.
o Cutting and threading pipes.
o Wiring both line voltage and low voltage to heating equipment.
o Installing copper refrigerant line to air conditioning units, including soldering and brazing.
• Performs residential retrofits and new installations of HVAC units and systems.
• Installs new Heating and Air Conditioning systems and related accessories according to company, safety, and manufacturer's specifications.
• Performs retrofit or installation per Work Order.
• Knowledge of pertinent rules and regulations, guidelines, safety orders, department operating procedures and safety regulations sufficient to ensure that work is performed in compliance with applicable law.
• Worker receives Work Orders from office.
• Unloads box truck of parts, materials, and tools from previous day.
• Reloads box truck with parts, materials, and tools needed for assigned job.
• Travels to job site.
• Removes all old equipment from customer's home and cleans up all areas utilized for the new installation.
• Ensures material inventory and maintenance for vehicles is completed to company requirements.
• Completes all paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough and timely manner.
• Maintain a neat work area and inspect that area for cleanliness after completion of each job. Cleans job site once work is completed.
• Maintains the highest level of standards for time management and quality completions.
• Work in a team-based environment to share information and workload while ensuring “more than satisfied customers.”
• Conveys a safety-conscious attitude, both on the job and while driving.
• Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all time.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
• High school or equivalent
• 06A Trainee License
• Valid Driver’s License and insurable driving record.

• Effective customer service skills to communicate clearly, the ideas and explanations of problems, to customers and coworkers.
• Demonstrate an ability to effectively and successfully compete projects in an orderly and efficient manner, with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated to complete assigned tasks within time constraints.

• Technical aptitude to perform maintenance, service, and troubleshoot equipment.
• Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all time.
• Must work in a safe manner on a daily basis and ensure that all safety measures are taken at all times.
Compensation: $21.00 - $36.00 per hour
