Responsible for growing the business through new project acquisition. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills required to flourish in our team-oriented culture.  As an integral part of our Sales Team, individual will be expected to collaborate with our field, office and service teams to generate additional business opportunities for Marina Mechanical. 

Position Expectations:

Sales: Develop business opportunities with new clients for HVAC projects. Your annual sales goals will be developed with support and input from the managers of the construction and service departments. You will have the support of our estimating, design /CAD, and clerical staff. Success in your sales endeavors will require a commitment to marketing, introducing Marina Mechanical to new clients, and participation in industry related trade and professional organizations.

Estimating: You will be responsible for overseeing the estimating and pricing of your projects and you may be asked to assist our other sales staff in estimating and pricing portions of projects they identify. Risk management is a fundamental part of our estimating and pricing strategy. In addition, you will have access to our estimators that strip off the drawings, and assembled pricing sheets. In those situations, you will be responsible in reviewing the project front ends and specifications with the takeoff person, as well as vendor quotes and sub contactors. Final pricing and review will be conducted by the President of Construction.

Project Management: Our staff project managers will provide primary project management services. You will be responsible for top-level communication with project owners, general contractors, sub-contractors and other stakeholders. You may be asked assist in pricing and review RFl’s and change orders whenever our work deviates from the contracted scope. You must confirm that all Marina Mechanical safety and moisture management policies and procedures are followed and confirm that all of your projects are installed to Marina standards for quality and customer service. You will also be required to coordinate activities with our project managers and contract administrators to assure construction documentation is accurate and timely.
 
Candidate must be experienced in selling in the San Francisco Bay Area for commercial HVAC in plan spec/negotiated/design build for a minimum 5 years.
