We are a small, family owned residential/light commercial HVAC company located in the beautiful Florida Keys. We are looking a for qualified, experienced service technician with a minimum of 3 years experience. Honesty and reliability a must. Applicant needs to be self-motivated, have good customer service skills, and a strong work-ethic. The Service Technician reports to the Service Manager and is responsible for performing a range of HVACR jobs for light commercial and residential customers.

A Service Technician must be able to accurately diagnose and efficiently accomplish a job to the mutual benefit of the customer and Mead Mechanical. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Conducting HVAC servicing jobs promptly and efficiently.
- Performing routine HVAC service activities without direct oversight or on-site assistance.
- Installing new air conditioning systems.
- Installing duct systems on new projects or existing projects.
- Available to be put into the on-call evening/weekend rotation.
- Performing related duties as directed by the Service Manager.
Job Qualifications:
- Three or more year(s) of successful experience, either as a service or installation technician.
- Currently have an EPA Universal certification.
- NATE certification encouraged.
- Good verbal and reading skills, including the ability to read and apply manufacturers' instructions and to clearly communicate with customers, suppliers, and other Mead Mechanical employees.
- Physical ability to perform all duties noted above under the conditions, circumstances, and extreme weather conditions found in Florida.
- Interest and initiative in maintaining and advancing his or her HVAC skills through a combination of self-study, company training, manufacturers' workshops, and other professional development activities.
- Current valid FL driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Be able to pass a background check.
- Ability to work under pressures of time, a non-standard schedule, weather, customer needs, and backlog constraints.
