Maintenance/ Service Technician

You will be responsible for performing a range of HVACR duties for light commercial, and residential customers.

Representative Job Duties Include:
 
Customer-based activities involved in this position will require you to be decisive, tactful, dependable and possess initiative and the ability to communicate well with all customer groups and team members.  

  • Accurately diagnose and efficiently accomplish a job. 
  • Contact will occur with virtually all demographic groups.  
  • Serving as a member of the Maintenance/Service Department team.
  • Performing service without oversight or on-site assistance.
  • Assist in the training of other employees on service-related subjects, if needed.
  • Conducting point-of-work sales of IAQ services, unit components.
  • Conducting non-service work in support of the IAQ and Installation Departments, as assigned.
  • Performing service related duties as directed by Manager.
 
Job Qualifications: 
  • High school graduate and graduate of a post-secondary HVACR program of instruction of two or more years in duration.
  • One or more years of successful experience, either as a residential maintenance, service or installation technician.
  • Good verbal and reading skills, including the ability to read and apply manufacturers' instructions and to clearly communicate with residential and commercial customers, suppliers, and other Stellitano HVAC, Inc. employees.
  • Physical ability to perform all duties noted above under the conditions, circumstances, and extreme weather conditions found in NJ or PA.
  • Interest and initiative in maintaining and advancing his or her HVACR skills through a combination of self-study, company training, manufacturers' workshops, and other professional development activities.
  • Ability to work under pressures of time, a non-standard schedule, weather, customer needs, and backlog constraints.
Compensation: $30,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
