The Service Technician is responsible for performing a range of HVAC service & installation jobs for residential and light commercial customers. Representative duties include:
- Service Team Members at All-Star are organized to conduct HVAC service and installation jobs in an efficient and timely manner. We strive for efficiency at all levels.
- Service Team Members perform routine HVAC Service, Repair and Installation activities without direct oversight.
- Service Team Members perform point-of-work sales of services, unit components, unit replacements, add-on units, and referrals.
- Service Team Members have the opportunity to double their hourly rate each and every week with our revolutionary escalating pay program.
- Performing related duties as directed.
Job Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- One or more years of successful and full-time HVAC experience, either as a service or installation technician.
- Good oral and reading skills, including the ability to read and apply manufacturers' installation instructions and clearly communicate with customers, suppliers, and other employees.
- Physical ability to perform all duties noted above under the conditions, circumstances, and extreme weather conditions.
- Current drivers license and the ability to operate all types of vehicles in the corporate fleet. Must be insurable by current insurance carrier.
- Ability to work efficiently given time pressures, non-standard schedule, extreme weather conditions, varying customer needs and demands, and backlog constraints.
Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
