HVAC Operations Manager

Full Time • Orlando
The basic function of the Operations Manager is to profitably run the company on a day-to-day basis.  Oversee all functions of the company including sales, service, installation, and accounting/finance. 

Essential duties:
 
Hire, manage, discipline and terminate service manager, installation manager, bookkeeper, and other office positions reporting directly to the Operations Manager
Help establish budgets for each department
Ensure that department managers are operating within their budgets
Help ensure that each department is profitable
Train, manage, support direct reports and oversee the training of all company personnel. 
Coordinate with the sales manager, all sales and marketing activities
Represent COMPANY NAME in trade shows, publicity events, and other outside activities. 
Speak to customers and others that direct reports cannot assist
Other tasks as requested by the CEO/President

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent
  • 5 years of management experience
  • Ability to lead
  • Ability to represent COMPANY NAME in a professional manner with customers, vendors, staff and the general public
  • Work well under pressure
  • Understand company and department financial statements
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
  • Ability to create and adhere to budget
  • Ability to handle difficult customer/technician issues
  • Adaptability—the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, and is able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
Good communicator – works well with different personality styles 
Compensación: $60,000.00 per year
