About the Role:
We are hiring a Full-Charge Bookkeeper. The Full-Charge Bookkeeper has advanced skills and experience in bookkeeping and accounting. They will manage the company's financial records while also providing insights and analysis to support decision-making. This role requires a detail-oriented planner who can look ahead and stay on top of tasks, ensuring that financial operations run smoothly as we expand into new markets, including our upcoming expansion into the San Antonio market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of accounting, including billing, financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll management, sales tax return filings, and credit card expense entry. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is necessary.
  • Knowledge of Accounting Principles
  • Prepare and coordinate the distribution of year-end tax documents.
  • Batch invoices and ensure timely processing and payments using ServiceTitan (our field service management software).
  • Utilize ServiceTitan to create invoices, track payments, and manage customer accounts efficiently.
  • Reconcile accounts and monitor accounts receivable to ensure timely collections.
  • Close the books by the 1st of each month, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Track overhead costs by department to facilitate the dual overhead method for determining pricing factors.
  • Input overhead costs into spreadsheets for pricing analysis.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Provide high-quality support while anticipating needs, troubleshooting, and addressing action items in progress.
  • Collaborate with leadership to prioritize important financial projects, provide frequent updates, and ensure completion.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and tact.
Talents and Experience Required:

  • Highly organized, with an emphasis on maintaining organization within the team.
  • 4+ years of experience in a financial management or bookkeeping role.
  • University or college associate's degree (minimum).
  • Knowledge of Accounting Principles: A solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), which allow for effective preparation of evaluation of financial statements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
  • Proficient in Quickbooks Online.
  • Confident, intelligent, dedicated, and focused on making improvements and seeking new solutions.

Compensation: $42,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
