This role is perfect for an experienced HVAC technician or supervisor ready to take on more responsibility and directly impact the growth of our San Antonio office. We recently acquired a local HVAC service company, and we need someone to lead field production. As the HVAC Service Technician Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for ensuring high efficiency, smooth workflow, and quality control on every job site. Your primary focus will be keeping jobs on track and making sure the team is equipped to deliver top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead field production, ensuring efficient workflows and maximizing productivity on all HVAC service and repair jobs for residential and light commercial clients.
  • Oversee scheduling and resource allocation to maintain a smooth and efficient job flow.
  • Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting when needed to keep jobs on track.
  • Conduct quality control checks, ensuring every job meets our company standards.
  • Train, coach, and mentor technicians, boosting team skills and efficiency.
  • Model safety protocols and maintain organization and cleanliness on job sites and in vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate records and job details using mobile applications.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring complete satisfaction.
Basic Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of HVAC experience, with strong residential service background; light commercial experience is a plus.
  • HVAC technical school graduate preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems (up to 50 tons) for troubleshooting, repair, and basic installations.
  • NATE certification is preferred. EPA universal is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various conditions (ladders, indoors/outdoors, confined spaces).
  • Proven leadership skills focused on efficiency, productivity, and customer service.
  • Proficient with diagnostic tools, mobile technology, and job tracking software.
  • Strong communication skills, with a positive, team-centered approach.
Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
Compensation: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
