Qualifications:
- Electrical Experience: 3 years minimum (Required)
- Journeyman Electrician’s license (Preferred)
Skills:
- Willing to travel around Florida for weeks at a time.
- Able maintain a clean, organized service truck.
- Able to work independently and with others.
- Demonstrable ability to use electrical testing equipment, power tools and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and ability to read and interpret: electrical, HVAC drawings, blueprints, shop drawings, submittals, wiring diagrams/schematics.
- Experience running and properly apply rigid and flexible conduits.
- Able to accurately read measuring equipment.
- Adheres to safety and environmental rules.
- Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- NEC, local and state codes fundamental knowledge
Other Requirements:
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Desire to learn HVAC related electrical and low voltage work and installations.
- Knowledge of basic math
- Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long or after hours shifts if job/project requires it
- Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Clean driving record (no points)
- Must Speak English. (Bi-Lingual acceptable)
- Must own his/her personal small hand, power or testing tools
- Drug Free
Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
