Senior/Lead HVAC Technician
Experience: 7–10 years

Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior/Lead HVAC Technician to oversee complex projects, ensure high-quality installations, and provide expert troubleshooting. This role involves leading a team of technicians, developing maintenance schedules, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with strong leadership and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage large-scale HVAC installations, retrofits, and service projects.

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans and schedules.

  • Diagnose and resolve complex HVAC system issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

  • Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations for junior technicians.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and best practices.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project success.

  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all projects.

  • Recommend system upgrades and energy-efficient solutions to clients.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience: 7–10 years in HVAC installation, service, and maintenance.

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in HVAC/R preferred.

  • Certifications: EPA 608 Certification (Universal) required; NATE certification preferred.

  • Skills:

    • Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing commercial and residential HVAC systems.

    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

    • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

    • Knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and handle physically demanding tasks.

  • License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
