The Job
SM Air is looking for an HVAC Lead Installer of residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems.

The Big Task
You will accurately and efficiently install top of the line heating and air equipment in our customers’ homes.
Key Sub Tasks
- Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts and installation teams.
- Train and mentor apprentices to ensure on-time, high quality installations.
- Keep your company truck clean, inside and out.
- Keep your truck inventory up to date.
- Properly complete paperwork.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a minimum Type I and II C.F.C. certification
- Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Pass background check
- Available to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed
- Ability to crawl in tight places and climb ladders; work in attics and on roofs
- Ability to work in hot, cold, wet weather
- Ability to safely climb ladders related to commercial rooftop work
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and interpret measurements and calculations
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent listener and desire to provide exceptional customer service
- Strong sense of honesty and inner strength to be positive even when others are not
