We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Sheetmetal Fabricator to contribute to our residential and commercial divisions. Accuracy is essential and the ability to identify and resolve issues during the fabrication process are two key skills to contribute towards your success. If this sounds like you, then these are your responsibilities, tasks and skills required:
Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components for HVAC systems as called in by Installers.
Have 3-5 years experience to operate machinery and tools safely - such as shears, brakes, rollers and tow motor.
Operate machinery and tools with precision to ensure high-quality production.
Accurately measure and mark lines in the crucial role of cutting and bending the metal to precise measurements and requirements.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent problem solving skills and a commitment to quality craftsmanship, ensuring the completed product meets quality standards.
Assist in warehouse tasks as assigned including shipping/receiving, using tow motor, keeping shop area clean and other tasks as assigned.
Ability to work well alone or with a team.
Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods of time.
