About the Role:
Join Probst Refrigeration & Heating as an Appliance Service Technician and become a vital part of our dedicated team in Effingham, IL. We are looking for skilled technicians who are passionate about delivering top-notch appliance repair services to our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair a variety of household appliances, including refrigerators, ovens, and washers.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal appliance performance.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
- Document all service calls, repairs, and customer interactions accurately.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new appliance technologies.
- Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and work area.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and efficiency.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in appliance repair is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in appliance repair or related field.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
