About the Role:
Join ATA College as an HVAC Instructor and inspire the next generation of HVAC professionals! We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable individual to teach our students the latest industry techniques and practices in a dynamic learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lectures and hands-on training in HVAC systems and technology.
- Develop and update curriculum to reflect current industry standards and practices.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom and workshop environment.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success and program growth.
- Stay current with HVAC trends and advancements to ensure relevant instruction.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
- Guide students in obtaining necessary certifications and licenses in the HVAC field.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the HVAC industry.
- Teaching experience or a passion for education is highly preferred.
- Relevant certifications, such as EPA 608, NATE, or similar.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to student success and fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Proficient in using technology and educational tools for instruction.
