Field Operations Manager – Commercial HVAC

About the Role
The Field Operations Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating all Commercial field operations, serving as the main link between the CEO and the Foremen (Sheetmetal & Pipefitter teams). This role ensures projects are executed efficiently, safely, on time, and within budget while keeping communication clear and structured.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Field Oversight
- Directly supervise Sheetmetal and Pipefitter Foremen.
- Coordinate workforce allocation across multiple commercial projects.
- Act as the first escalation point for field-related issues.
Communication & Reporting
- Consolidate weekly updates from Foremen and report to the CEO.
- Provide clear visibility on project progress, labor hours, productivity, and materials.
- Resolve day-to-day issues independently and escalate only critical matters.
Project Execution
- Translate project priorities into clear action plans for Foremen.
- Ensure crews meet deadlines, safety standards, and quality expectations.
Materials & Resources
- Review and approve material requests before purchasing.
- Monitor inventory and coordinate replenishment as needed.
Quality, Safety & Cost Control
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Track labor costs and productivity; flag and address variances.
- Conduct periodic site visits and audits.
Team Development
- Coach and mentor Foremen to strengthen leadership skills.
- Identify high-potential crew members and recommend promotions.
Qualifications
- Experience leading commercial HVAC or construction field teams.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple crews and priorities simultaneously.
- Solid understanding of scheduling, labor tracking, and materials management.

Compensation: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
