Pipe Wrench LLC is looking for a Parts Runner to join our team. This position works on the warehouse floor, processing orders by picking and filling boxes/containers. He/she will send and accept shipments while keeping the warehouse clean and safe at all times.
The ideal candidate has experience working in an environment that can be cold and hot during different seasons. This person will need to be able to work safely and quickly, standing for long periods while fulfilling orders.
Responsibilities:
- Stage parts and equipment at the company warehouse and deliver to job sites
- Load and unload parts and equipment
- Drive a 16’ box truck and operate a lift gate and pallet jack
- Organize parts and equipment and securely tie down for safe transportation
- Check and verify orders to confirm items, quantity, and condition
- Organizing and cleaning warehouse and trucks
- Receiving, restocking, and counting inventory
- Other tasks as assigned
- Provide responsive, clear, concise, and consistent communication with customers
- Always be resourceful and proactive
- Safety and housekeeping – Ensure a safe warehouse environment by keeping an organized workstation, alerting supervisors of any concerns, and completing continuing education for safety and hazards. Review any complaints and notify the shift leader of ongoing shipping or receiving issues. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Competencies for Success
- Must have a clean & insurable driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check & drug test
- Ability to lift and carry 80 lbs.
- Must be able to work under deadlines
- Must have good reading and communication skills
- Must possess a positive attitude and professional appearance
Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
