About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at South Jersey Heating and Cooling as an HVAC Service Technician! In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional heating and cooling solutions to our valued customers in Forked River, NJ. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot heating and cooling issues for residential and commercial clients.
- Install new HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, and ductwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and questions professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during service operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC service and repair.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with industry tools and equipment.
- EPA certification for refrigerant handling is a plus.
