What You’ll Do
As a Senior Service Technician, you’ll take the lead on advanced HVAC service work, ensuring every job is completed safely, efficiently, and correctly.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems (furnaces, heat pumps, AC units, indoor air quality systems)
- Handle complex service calls independently
- Participate in on-call rotations
- Educate customers on system performance, maintenance, and energy efficiency
- Recommend IAQ solutions, system upgrades, and replacement opportunities
- Collaborate with dispatch, management, and fellow technicians to keep operations running smoothly
Qualifications
- 5+ years of residential HVAC service experience
- Graduate of a 2+ year HVACR training program or equivalent experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and follow manufacturer specifications and installation manuals
- Professional communication skills with customers and team members
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Willingness to continue learning and grow in the trade
- Physical ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor environments typical of Virginia weather
