Sensigreen is expanding our Commercial Service Department and seeking a skilled, reliable Commercial Service Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for a technician who takes pride in their craft, communicates professionally, and can diagnose and repair commercial HVAC systems with confidence and accuracy.

Employment Type: Full-Time Location: LaGrange, GA (Service area throughout the Southeast)


About the Role

The Commercial Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems for Sensigreen’s service customers. This position requires strong technical ability, clear communication, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality service that reflects Sensigreen’s standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems including RTUs, heat pumps, split systems, VFDs, controls, and ventilation equipment
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on commercial equipment
  • Provide accurate, professional communication with customers, facility managers, and internal teams
  • Document service findings, recommendations, and repair needs clearly and thoroughly
  • Respond to service calls, troubleshoot system issues, and provide solutions in the field
  • Ensure all work complies with code, manufacturer guidelines, and Sensigreen quality standards
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in clean, safe condition
  • Represent Sensigreen with professionalism, integrity, and customer‑focused service

Qualifications

  • 5+ years commercial HVAC service experience preferred
  • Strong diagnostic skills with commercial equipment and controls
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and service documentation
  • EPA Certification required
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders, lifts, and rooftops
  • Strong communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience with VFDs, economizers, and light controls a plus
