Kelly Air Systems is currently seeking a skilled HVAC Sales/ Service Technician to join our dynamic team.   • Qualified candidates must be experienced in HVAC Sales & Residential HVAC Equipment Service.
  • Able to perform a variety of duties including diagnosing, repairing and maintaining residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. 
  • Must have hands-on experience in both Sales & Service, estimating, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Requirements
   
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Sales:
  • Conduct in-home consultations to assess HVAC needs and present customized solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate job estimates and proposals.
  • Close sales and coordinate with the installation and service teams.
  • Educate customers on energy efficiency, equipment options, and financing.
  • Build lasting customer relationships through trust and product knowledge.
Service & Repair:
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with HVAC systems including furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, and ventilation systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance, safety checks, and tune-ups on HVAC equipment.
  • Explain findings and solutions to customers in a clear and professional manner.
  • Complete service tickets and documentation accurately and on time.
General:
  • Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and manage truck stock inventory.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and participate in safety meetings/training.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • 5+ years of HVAC service and Sales experience (residential/light commercial)
  • EPA 608 Certification required
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Prior sales experience with strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Comfortable working in residential settings and climbing into attics or crawlspaces when needed.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or HVAC certification preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., work in attics/crawl spaces, and use basic hand/power tools
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
