Gas Service Technician II
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Service Technician II to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of gas systems and appliances in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with gas lines, meters, regulators, and related equipment.
- Test and verify the integrity of gas systems, ensuring proper operation and safety standards.
- Document service activities accurately and maintain detailed records of work performed.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with customers regarding service procedures and safety precautions.
- Assist in training junior technicians and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Gas Service Technician or similar role, with a strong understanding of gas systems and safety protocols.
- Valid gas technician license or certification as required by local regulations.
- Knowledge of gas codes, standards, and regulations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2–5 years of experience in gas utility, HVAC, plumbing, or related field
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Working knowledge of gas distribution systems and service procedures
- Ability to work independently and make sound safety decisions in the field
Compensation: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
