Are you an experienced HVAC professional ready to take the lead?
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead HVAC Technician to join our growing team in Mahwah, NJ. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who takes pride in high-quality work, mentoring technicians, solving complex HVAC issues, and delivering outstanding customer service.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and oversee HVAC service, maintenance, and repair work
- Diagnose and troubleshoot residential and/or commercial HVAC systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
- Train and mentor junior technicians in the field
- Ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and up to company standards
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding system issues and repair options
- Install, repair, and maintain heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and company procedures

Requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of HVAC service or installation experience preferred
- Previous leadership or lead technician experience strongly preferred
- EPA Certification required
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience with residential and/or commercial HVAC systems
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively
Compensation: $38.00 - $48.00 per hour
