Receptionist Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls in a polite, professional and friendly manner
- Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner
- Maintain reception area and all common areas in a clean and organized manner at all times
- Operate standard office equipment effectively
- Estimate service calls and schedule customers professionally and accurately
- Receive deliveries – develops a professional relationship with our vendors
- Maintain the general office filing system
- Willing to support our dispatch department
- Additional duties as assigned by the Team
Receptionist Qualifications
- Verbal and written communication skills to interact clearly with customers, vendors, and other employees; uses Please and Thank you in all email, in-person, and phone conversations
- Organization skills to keep accurate records and find important information quickly
- Time management skills to prioritize and complete a variety of tasks throughout the day
- Patience and listening skills to respond appropriate and interact positively with customers
- Interpersonal skills to create a pleasant experience for all customers, such as being personable and attentive
- Professional and friendly
- Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma
