Role Overview

Living and working in a rural community means building long-term trust while helping budget-conscious families afford essential home upgrades. You won't just be pushing high-priced equipment; you will be helping clients lower their utility bills and improve home comfort using a systems-thinking approach—matching HVAC upgrades with insulation, duct sealing, and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) solutions.

CRM Mastery, Outbound Calling & Pipeline Execution (GoHighLevel)

Hands-on proficiency with CRM platforms—specifically GoHighLevel (GHL)—is highly preferred. Our company has been serving the local community for nearly 30 years, building immense goodwill, a stellar reputation, and an un-scrubbed database of thousands of past customers. Right now, our lowest-cost form of sales and marketing is direct outbound outreach to this goldmine of established relationships. To capitalize on this, the Sales Consultant must demonstrate strict discipline by executing a minimum of 50 outbound calls per day through a company-provided phone, following a carefully prepared script. You will use GHL (or equivalent systems like Salesforce, ServiceTitan, or HubSpot) to manage leads, execute automated SMS/email follow-up campaigns, track pipeline stages, and ensure zero lead drop-off.

Consumer Financing Expertise (Preferred Experience)

A background in selling consumer financing and structuring payments is strongly preferred. In a market with high living expenses and limited disposable income, closing deals hinges on your ability to make large projects affordable through flexible payment plans, local rebates, and financing options. Candidates with experience as an Auto Sales & Finance Consultant at a dealership, a personal finance advisor, or a high-ticket retail sales professional who consistently structured secondary/primary financing will excel here. You must be comfortable presenting monthly payment structures rather than total cash prices, navigating credit applications, and securing fast approvals to close deals on the spot.

Key Responsibilities

  • In-Home Consultations: Perform whole-home comfort assessments, evaluating HVAC units, duct performance, and building envelope leakage.
  • Disciplined Outbound Calling: Make a minimum of 50 outbound calls daily using the company-provided phone to re-engage our database of thousands of prior customers following proven sales scripts.
  • CRM & Pipeline Management: Leverage GoHighLevel to rigorously manage your sales pipeline, log call notes, maintain automated follow-up sequences, and schedule appointments.
  • Payment-Centric Selling: Present tiered solutions structured around affordable monthly payments, leveraging local utility rebates, TECH Clean California incentives, and secondary financing.
  • Warm Lead Conversion: Work closely with service technicians to convert diagnostic calls and maintenance visits into full replacement opportunities.
  • Margin & Collection Control: Quote accurately to maintain a 20% net profit margin, ensuring client accounts settle within 30 days of job completion to release commission.
Qualifications

  • CRM & Phone Discipline: Proficiency with GoHighLevel (GHL) or equivalent CRM systems; proven track record of phone discipline (50+ dials daily) using structured scripts.
  • Sales & Finance Background: 1–2+ years of sales experience in auto finance/dealership sales, home services, or financial product sales.
  • Financing Proficiency: Proven ability to present financing options, calculate monthly ROI/energy savings, and overcome price objections using payment-based selling.
  • Systems Mindset: Eager to learn building science metrics (airflow, thermal envelope, IAQ) to offer energy-saving solutions that practically pay for themselves.
  • Commitment & Drive: Self-motivated, 100% committed to a performance commission structure, possessing strong communication skills for a close-knit rural market.
  • Requirements: Valid Driver’s License, clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check/drug screening.
Realistic Compensation Expectations

  • Entry / Ramp-Up Phase: $60,000 – $80,000
  • Target Producer ($1M - $1.2M Vol): $100,000 – $120,000
  • Top Producer ($1.5M Target Goal): $150,000 – $180,000+
Compensation: $60,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
