We are seeking a skilled and dependable Construction Plumber for work in the West Palm Beach area. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems on commercial and residential construction projects. This position requires the ability to read blueprints, work independently or as part of a team, and ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Install, assemble, and repair plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, waste, and vent piping.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and building plans.
  • Lay out plumbing systems according to project requirements and code specifications.
  • Install fixtures, appliances, and equipment such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and pumps.
  • Measure, cut, bend, and thread pipe using hand and power tools.
  • Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Perform pressure testing and inspections of plumbing systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues during construction phases.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Complete all required documentation, reports, and work orders accurately.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of construction plumbing experience.
  • Knowledge of commercial and residential plumbing systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plumbing schematics.
  • Strong understanding of plumbing codes and safety regulations.
  • Experience with PVC, CPVC, cast iron, copper, PEX, and other piping materials.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Journeyman Plumber certification.
  • Plumbing license or apprenticeship training.
  • Experience with commercial construction projects.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
  • Backflow certification a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently stand, kneel, bend, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying temperatures and construction site conditions.
Compensation: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
