Tri-County Heating & Cooling in Livingston, Montana, is looking for a highly experienced HVAC-R service technicians to join our team in serving our local accounts. We currently service high-profile commercial, multi-family, and hi-end residential systems, as well as all make and models of units. Standard technician tools are required. We are looking for a hardworking, dependable person who wants to be a part of our team. Must have a clean driving record, be insurable, a team player, be presentable and show up on time.
The Service Technician is responsible for performing a range of HVAC/R jobs for Industrial, Commercial including Commercial coolers/Ice Makers and residential customers including Boilers and must possess in-depth knowledge of HVAC science, electrical components, mechanical systems, and troubleshooting.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 40hrs per week.Weekends as needed.

A Service Technician must be able to accurately diagnose and efficiently accomplish a job to the mutual benefit of the customer and Tri County Heating and Cooling Inc. Will interact with service customers, co-workers, the Service Manager, Dispatcher and the Parts Runners.
Must be able to use software on an iPad and invoice through the software system and collect payments when needed.

- Conduct HVAC/R servicing jobs promptly and efficiently, without direct oversight or on-site assistance.
- Assist in training of others on service-related subjects, including call-back prevention and equipment protocols.
- Conduct point-of-work sales of IAQ services, unit components, unit replacements, add-on units, and residential service contracts.
- Developing lead referrals for the sales staff.
- Conducting non-service work in support of the IAQ and Installation Departments, as assigned.
- ON-CALL is REQUIRED during Peak weather.
Job Qualifications:

- High school graduate and graduate of a post-secondary HVACR program of instruction of two or more years in duration.
- Three or more years of successful experience, either as a commercial service or installation technician.
- Good verbal and reading skills, including the ability to apply manufacturers' instructions and clearly communicate.
- Physical ability to perform all duties noted above under the conditions, circumstances, and extreme weather conditions.
- Advance HVACR skills with self-study, company training, manufacturers' workshops, and other professional development activities.
- Current MT operator's license and the ability to operate all vehicles in the corporate fleet within 30 days of initial employment.
- Ability to work under pressures of time, a non-standard schedule, weather, customer needs, and backlog constraints.
- Ability to work at heights using ladders, must be able to lift, carry and maneuver weight limits up to 100 lbs.
- Must be able to bend, stand, sit, crawl, crouch and perform pushing, pulling and twisting tasks.
- Required to follow all applicable safety procedures and follow OSHA guidelines.
- Must have good customer service and communication skills.
Compensation: $33.00 per hour
